Understand what your store has collected and where to act next. The Insights tab reports direct company feedback, customer-invitation outcomes and storefront widget activity in separate sections. It uses recorded activity rather than a sales forecast. The report is available in Free after you claim and verify the store domain; a teammate with store access can inspect review and widget statistics, while invitation reporting remains with the owner.
Read the feedback you actually have
Your report shows the number of currently published direct company reviews, their arithmetic mean, the count at each star rating and how many have a public business response. Select all experience dates, the last 30 days, 90 days or 365 days. Product reviews and imported collections are excluded from this direct-feedback baseline. Submitted feedback awaiting moderation appears as a separate count and does not enter the published rating.
An empty report is useful too: before the first direct review is published, the average and response percentage remain unavailable. Share your review link with real customers, then let the feedback build through independent moderation. A claim, a subscription and a campaign send never create a positive rating.
Use dates and response coverage carefully
Review periods use the experience date supplied by the reviewer, in UTC. The monthly table shows currently published feedback across the latest 12 calendar months within your selected period. Older experiences remain in all-history totals. This table describes experience dates; it is not a history of when reviews became public, an order ledger or an independently verified measure of fulfillment.
Response coverage divides published reviews with a public business reply by the published review count. It does not measure how quickly you responded or whether a customer issue was resolved. Open the review inbox, filter to unanswered feedback and read the full account before replying. Welcome positive, mixed and critical experiences consistently.
Follow invitations from sending to submission
Owners can inspect invitations accepted for sending, provider-confirmed delivery events, recorded bounces and matched review submissions. Reporting includes every campaign in the selected sent-date cohort, including campaigns outside the recent campaign list. A later submission from one of those invitations still belongs to that cohort. The submission rate is matched submissions divided by sent invitations, and remains unavailable when no invitation has been sent.
Sending acceptance and confirmed delivery are different events. A matched submission may await moderation or later be removed, so it does not guarantee a public review. No email opens, order conversions or customer revenue are inferred. Campaign contacts remain private and are not part of the insight report.
Check that your storefront display is being used
Widget reporting counts recorded browser loads and profile-link clicks on your store domain, by UTC calendar day. It includes the latest recorded activity when available. Browser restrictions and network failures can prevent recording; repeated visits can create more than one event. These counts are not unique people, verified purchasers or sales.
Use a zero-activity report to check the installed embed on desktop and mobile. Use unanswered feedback to prioritize a thoughtful public response. Use delivery and submission counts to review a consistently selected customer cohort. Each metric should lead to an action you can verify rather than a promise about revenue.
Questions about review insights
Are review insights included in Free?
Yes. A verified store workspace can view direct-review and widget reporting. The owner can also view campaign outcome counts. Email sending remains subject to the connected delivery service and invitation allowance.
Do imported reviews increase my direct customer rating?
No. This workspace baseline includes currently public company reviews submitted on ReviewList. Imported collections and product feedback remain separate.
Does the report track sales or prove a customer issue was solved?
No. It reports review, response, invitation and browser activity. Response coverage is not a resolution rate, and widget events are not order conversions.
