FOR INDEPENDENT ONLINE STORES

Claim a free business profile for your online store

Create or claim your ReviewList store profile, prove control of its domain with DNS and keep public store details accurate from your business workspace.

Give your store an identifiable place for company feedback and a direct review link. Start with the exact public website domain. ReviewList can create a profile when the business is not yet listed, or guide you through claiming an existing profile. Sign in and complete a DNS TXT verification before using owner controls. A free profile does not require a paid checkout.

Prove control of the store domain

The workspace supplies a unique TXT value and the record name to add with your domain provider. Use the displayed _reviewlist record without replacing your website’s existing DNS records. Return to the saved pending claim and choose verification after propagation. If the record is not found yet, check the hostname and value and allow time for DNS changes to become visible.

This process demonstrates control of the domain. It does not independently verify customer purchases, certify the business’s service quality or establish that every visitor will receive a good outcome. If a profile is already claimed, another account cannot simply overwrite its owner; an ownership transfer or administrator assistance is needed.

Keep the public details accurate

Store settings let an authorized member update the public business name, description and category. Describe what the business actually offers instead of adding unsupported awards, endorsements or claims. Logo uploads depend on the separate storage connection and should not be treated as required for a working profile. Use the public-profile link to review how the saved details appear to shoppers.

Connect the profile to real feedback

Your direct review link can be shared with appropriate customers while a claim is pending. Owner campaign controls, public replies and widget setup become available through authorized workspace access after verification. ReviewList keeps company and product reviews separate and displays collected sets separately from direct customer submissions. A claimed profile does not merge ratings, bypass moderation or purchase search placement. A new profile with little published evidence may stay outside search indexing until it meets the site’s evidence criteria.

Use the Free workflow first: confirm ownership, invite real customers fairly, respond to published feedback and install a truthful direct-review widget. Native store-order synchronization is not available, and paid checkout is currently unavailable. The purpose of the profile is a usable feedback record, not a guaranteed ranking, endorsement or sales result.

Questions about business profiles

What does a claimed profile prove?

The domain claim records ownership access established through DNS proof. It is not a service-quality endorsement, a purchase-verification badge or a guarantee that a website is safe.

Can customers review a store while its claim is pending?

Customers can use the public review link while DNS verification is pending. Owner controls require the appropriate verified workspace access. Reviews still need to meet the same moderation requirements.

Will a new profile immediately rank in Google?

No ranking or indexing outcome is guaranteed. A new or low-evidence profile may not be indexable under ReviewList’s publication criteria. Building a profile does not buy placement or change review standards.
