Low quality manufacturing
I have owned their Cadregatt Burgundy Brown shoe for over a year. While the build quality is ok, the colouring of the shoe is extremely poor. The shoe is hand-coloured, meaning they didn’t dye or tan the leather properly. What this results in is the brown colour fading and the red light burgundy colour coming out; even a few scuffs here and there would bring this about. First, I did not pay attention when I’ve seen the change around the toes and heels, but gradually the entire shoe has lost the nice brown burgundy colour, despite me using only premium Saphir brand waxes, creams, and cleaners. At the same time I have bought a Crockett & Jones tassel loafer and worn it almost the same amount of time; that shoe is still like new, no colour fade whatsoever. Granted, that is almost twice as expensive, but then one is Made in Italy, the other one is made in the UK, also the sole differs, etc. I don’t think I’ll ever buy a Velasca leather shoe anymore; maybe stick only to the simple suede ones, although I have problems with those ones as well.
Delayed delivery but a great jacket.
There was a bit of a delay getting the jacket, but very happy with it. Good quality, fit, and style.

I’ve been buying Velasca shoes since 2016. I probably have five or six pairs, and I still wear the first pair I bought 10 years ago.

I’m very happy with the boots themselves — the quality and craftsmanship are great. Unfortunately, the customer service was disappointing.
I accidentally ordered size 8.5 instead of 8 and contacted Velasca within about an hour of placing the order to request a size change. They replied three days later and told me they would ask the warehouse to put the order on hold, but instead the shipping label was created the next day and the order was shipped. When I contacted them again, I was told that I had notified them too late, even though I reached out just an hour after placing the order.
Great shoes, but the customer service and communication could definitely be improved.
