Made In quality and item-condition reviews

7 published company reviews mention quality & condition. Read the accounts, their dates and the questions that help put them in context.

Reviews are selected by English keywords in their titles or text, regardless of rating. Matching can include unrelated uses of a word and miss relevant experiences. It does not verify a claim, measure an incident rate, infer sentiment or establish a company policy. Product reviews are excluded. Five matching reviews is our publication threshold, not a reliability or safety score.

Cookware had issues with non-stick coating

Had an issue with my cookware which was under warranty and customer service was outstanding - attentive, professional and they are sending me new pot! When I get great customer service, I am loyal and happy to tell others that this is a quality company with top products and customer service.

Made In is simply the best kitchenware...

Made In is simply the best kitchenware company, whether you’re a professional chef or a novice. They have all the tools to make cooking a pleasure. I have made many purchases and have been immensely pleased with each. The quality of everything they sell is without compare.I had a small customer service issue that they immediately addressed. They were happy to resolve it and reaffirmed why I’m a Made In cook for life.

Refund refused as Made In warehouse cant find the return

I have returned an order 3-weeks ago with tracking confirmation from the shipping label confirming the return as complete. Made In Cookware have told me that they are refusing to refund my money because they have misplaced the return in their warehouse and for 3-weeks have been "trying to locate" my return. Pan was received with what sounded like a piece of metal rattling around in the handle, quality was definitely not what I was expecting, clearly just a massive marketing budget rather than genuine reviews. Good luck if anything goes wrong with your order, customer service just keeps sending the same rambling, bot generated response. I would say after 20 years in kitchens, buy pans from literally anywhere else, don't believe the purchased hype.

Terrible packing job!

Terrible packing job! The box was ripped and damaged, and one side was completely covered in packing tape. There were no inserts in the box to protect the pan from damage. When I contacted Made-in, they basically didn't care. For a pan this expensive, I expected better!

Slick marketing, terrible build quality - warped within a month

I bought the 3-piece frying pan set after seeing glowing reviews everywhere and getting pulled in by their marketing campaigns. Within less than a month of normal use, the bottoms of all three pans bowed and warped. They no longer sit flat on the hob. Because they rock back and forth, heat distribution is completely uneven - oil pools on one side, food cooks inconsistently, and using them is an exercise in pure frustration every single time I step into the kitchen. Premium cookware should not deform under standard cooking conditions in under four weeks. I hadn't bothered to write a review until now, but seeing another relentless wave of their marketing pop up on my feeds pushed me over the edge. Don’t buy into the hype. The marketing budget is clearly doing all the heavy lifting here, because the actual product does not hold up.

No Refund Despite Proof of Return

I ordered a 10 piece cookware set for £559.20, the pots and pans arrived scratched, damaged and not to an acceptable standard, which Made In agreed. I contacted customer service, returned the items as per their instructions and Royal Mail tracking confirms that the return was delivered to Made In on 1 September. Made In told me I would receive my full refund within 7–10 business days of this date. However, after following up over 2 weeks later, I was told their warehouse could not locate the return and therefore they would not process my refund. I have now been advised my Made In to dispute the payment with my bank. I have provided proof of delivery and all relevant correspondence to Made In, but I am still without my £559.20 refund. Very frustrating experience from the very start and awful customer service. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Beautiful pans!

Beautifully, well-made cookware with outstanding customer service as a bonus. The pans are lovely and durable. The customer service experience was among the best I've ever experienced. They (MJ) took time to listen, investigate and find a solution. I was impressed all the way around. You will be too!

Questions about these reviews

How many Made In reviews mention quality & condition?

This page includes 7 eligible published company reviews selected by topic keywords, dated Sep 4, 2026 through Oct 10, 2026. The selection is not all customer feedback or a verified incident count.

Do these reviews establish Made In's current policy or service performance?

No. These are individual customer accounts. Keywords do not verify a statement, establish an incident rate or prove current delivery, return, warranty, support or billing terms. Read the details and confirm the terms relevant to your purchase directly with the company.

How are the ratings on this quality & condition page calculated?

Each collection keeps its own arithmetic mean of the company-review ratings in this keyword-matched subset. A company review can describe multiple parts of an experience; its stars are not an independently measured topic-only score. Collected reviews and direct submissions remain separate.
