"From Vain Concept to Live Storefront: How AI Made Entrepreneurship Possible."
Starting with just a vague concept and zero web design experience, I never thought I’d run a full online storefront. After hearing about Wix and Printful on a podcast, I decided to try the free trial and was amazed by how the AI features within Wix guided me from a blank slate to a fully designed, professional website. Connecting the Printful app was incredibly smooth, allowing me to create and list items without upfront charges. Thanks to this seamless integration and the intuitive AI tools, I was able to publish my live store within weeks and am now successfully growing my new business adventure.
My Wix Journey
Since launching C&B Educational Consulting in June 2024, I've spent countless hours building this website and shaping the business from the ground up. What started as an idea has steadily grown into a professional platform that reflects who I am and the work I believe in.
As a solo entrepreneur with no financial backing, every page, resource, and service has been created through persistence, long hours, and a willingness to keep learning. Wix made it possible for me to bring my ideas to life without needing advanced technical skills, giving me the tools to build and improve the site along the way.
The road hasn't always been easy, but each challenge has strengthened my resolve. Today, C&B Educational Consulting stands as a reflection of dedication, perseverance, and the belief that meaningful work is worth building, one step at a time.

Avoid this company
Avoid this company. There are better options out there. They overcharge although they promise a cheaper domain and yearly subscription. I signed up but was assuming I just read the bill wrong bc it went from 11.90 with 1 year free to $50 for 2 years with a discount. Customer service couldn’t explain why. I had to switch the site I purchased to the correct Google account bc I didn’t realize it had set up my account in my old one since I had been logged in. I couldn’t find my account for the grace period but finally did at 2.5 weeks. What I didn’t know was that when i transferred it (with their customer help) it wouldn’t connect to the $399 site I had paid for. Spent 2 weeks talking to 10 different representatives (3 managers) and not one of them could hook my domain to the site I paid for. I continued to ask for a refund since they couldn’t help me connect it with their “expert advice”. Their managers said we will refund bc it’s not working. Billing people who you can’t talk to emails and told me again they refuse to refund even though no one can get it connected. Try more experts for help and again no connection, again another manager saying they submit for a refund, days later billing email saying no refund. Email says please replay back with questions, I email back and it goes to a GENERIC EMAIL. One lady emailed twice asking me to respond based on my last review and dismissed me bc I wasn’t responding to her emails, but I was and they were all to the wix@..., email address,. I called Wix asking for help finding her do she knew I was responding to her but it was generic email. No one knew how to find her contact. 🫣 It is literally a circus. 🎪🤡A joke of a customer service. Now 2 months in of a $500 bill, I still don’t have a site that works and I own a domain I paid 3 times more than they advertised. 🙄🤬 Do NOT choose Wix. Their experts can’t even connect the domain I paid for to the site I paid for nor provide customer service that doesn’t lie to you on the phone. Spent over 20 hours and now I just have to let the $500 sit there wasted till 2 years is up. 🤯😭🤬 Wix is the Worst. WW WIX IS THE WORST!

Beyond frustrated by customer service. Business being ruined.
I’ve been with Wix since their early days and never had a need to contact them for support. I wish I hadn’t. My issue was an advertising bot that had attached itself to Google Adsense. I was struggle to remove it and so contacted Wix through their appalling chat help service ( no email, contact number or department).
Their AI chat suggested a few ideas which I looked into and managed to remove the bot. I changed pw etc. check website and all looked back to normal. A few hours later I was locked out of my account. It’s been 10 days and despite tens of emails and about 15 chats I’ve been unable to contact anyone who has been helpful. I have lost money, customers complaining, can not process orders, I’ve missed a product launch and I have received no income for about two weeks.
Through frustration and tears I wrote to the ceo of the company. I have not received a reply which is somewhat expected.
Shame on Wix for ruining my business. Causing unnecessary upset and causing issues for my customers. Free over 15 years of loyal customer commitment they have treated me appallingly.
Below is the letter I sent to the CEO. If Wix take time to read this review ( and I’m not holding out much hope) would you please, please unlock my account.
Part of my letter:
Re: Formal complaint regarding prolonged loss of access to business website
I am writing to you as a long-standing Wix customer to raise a formal complaint about the extremely poor customer service I have received over the past nine days. The handling of this matter has caused serious and unnecessary disruption to my business, financial hardship, reputational damage and considerable distress.
I am asking for your urgent personal intervention to ensure that access to my website and account is restored without further delay.
Background and timeline
Nine days ago, I reported an incident to Wix via its online chat after discovering a bot on my website that I was struggling to remove. I sought further guidance through AI and Wix Help, and followed the suggested steps to resolve the problem. These included checking my website pages for a small, hidden template that could be deleted, logging out of all computers and enabling two-factor authentication.
I followed these instructions. However, when I subsequently attempted to log back into my account, I found that I had been blocked from accessing my account and website. I could only access Wix through an email link that had been sent to me.
I replied to the email requesting assistance, and when no response was forthcoming, I replied repeatedly in the hope that my messages would be noticed and acted upon. Almost all of these emails have been ignored.
After numerous unsuccessful attempts to obtain help, I eventually discovered that I could contact Wix support by creating and using another Wix.
I explained the situation and was assured that my case would be treated urgently. Unfortunately, that assurance was not reflected in the action taken.
During this time, I was told on different occasions that my case had been escalated. I subsequently discovered that it had simply been transferred between departments, including Technical and Security, without any meaningful resolution or effective communication.
I have now spent approximately 28 hours over nine days trying to resolve this issue through Wix's customer support channels, with no satisfactory outcome.

Used to be great
Used to be great, now uncapable of resolving simple customer complaint to any form of satisfactory level. DONT USE WIX PAYMENTS! Wrongly deleted 13 of my products, despite open complaint and emails saying they were looking into the matter. Their idea of resolve is for me to reproduce products at my own time/expense and accept their mistake! RIDICULOUS!

We experienced repeated failures where Wix did not display customer orders, did not send notifications, and left us unaware of incoming purchases. After speaking with several Wix agents, we received contradictory information and no accountability. Moneris later confirmed the issue comes from Wix’s own integration. We lost time, money, and customer trust. We no longer consider Wix a reliable platform for our business.

I am strictly an end user when it comes to I.T. and social media. My son set this account up to host the web site he created for my dog training business. When my limited expertise with social media needed help to keep the phones ringing, they had tools and solutions for my marketing issues. We've only just begun to fine tune our multi media machine. We'll see where it goes from here..

Charged 19 days early, triple the price, zero notice
Wix charged me US$730.80 on August 29 for a renewal term starting September 17 — 19 days early (a practice they later confirmed in writing as "typical"), more than TRIPLE the previous price, with zero notification of the amount. I cancelled and requested a refund the SAME DAY, within their own 14-day policy. Denied — exactly on day 14.
What happened since is worse. Seven different support reps gave me six mutually contradictory justifications: refund "voided" by the PayPal dispute; formally denied "after review"; renewals "non-refundable by policy"; "never denied, still pending"; 14 days "only for new purchases"; and finally "we must wait for PayPal's decision." They promised in writing: once PayPal decides and the funds stay with Wix, they would review the refund.
Well: PayPal closed the case on September 28 — in Wix's favor, in writing, case number in hand, "cannot be reopened". The funds never left Wix for a single day. I sent them PayPal's written confirmation. Their answer? "Our dashboard still shows it under review, we have to wait." Twelve days and counting after closure — while they hold $730.80 for a two-year service I cancelled BEFORE it started and never used.
They set their own condition, saw it met, and still won't honor it. Every claim above is backed by screenshots and emails. Bank dispute and police complaint now in progress.
If you use Wix: turn off auto-renewal TODAY, and check what your renewal price will be — because they won't tell you before charging it.

I have to admit that I was new to...
I have to admit that I was new to building a website and I was a little bit apprehensive approaching it, but Wick has some pretty good tools, especially the AI tool which was all lifesaver. It developed my website exactly the way I wanted it to look and I’m happy to report that I’m getting a lot of traffic to my site. Wix also provides some really awesome extra tools if you upgrade to the premium which I didn’t think I need but I’m sure glad that I got it because it opens up applications such as analytics and it let you know how many people are coming to your site and which platform they’re using so you cannot accommodate your website to that platform it also which I thought was pretty damn awesome was allows you to see viewers of the site. I had some from out of the country which I was surprised about. The only thing I would say is this is a real review and if your apprehensive about starting a website go with Wix because they made it really simple and easy for me.
