What started as a pretty great deal turned to what these usually turn out to be: a rip-off. It's more than the increase in cost-without any notice. After the initial setup, when you all and ask for help with wordpress, the most common thing you hear is "we don't support that." Or, when having issues with adding a widget:"I'm sorry, we don't support that." After 10 years I finally cut it off. Here's the HUGE issue. I was supposed to get a refund for around #300 for both my sites. NOTHING. When you call to inquire, you are routed to different people on an endless circuit. They finally hang up on you. They claim my refund was processes. FAT LIE. DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. FIND ANOTHER HOST. BETTER YET, JUST HAVE AI DO IT. THIS COMPANY IS DISHONEST AND A BIG RIP-OFF. DON'T SAY YOU WEREN'T WARNED.

I worked with a HostGator agent today. They went way beyond the service. The Agent didn't expect me to hunt down my own solutions. They asked the right questions and provided the answers. I am very grateful for the time and care taken. The services are only as good as the professional behind the screen. This was a GOOD one. We very much need human beings for problem-solving. Host Gator is great! Tech support is excellent and always resolves the few issues I have had, efficiently and thoroughly.
When you use chat to resolve a problem, it is a bit of a gamble who you get. Some are very helpful; some try. Today I got somebody very helpful. Thanks!!
