I bought the 8x10 Ruggable area rug...
I bought the 8x10 Ruggable area rug specifically for its machine-washable feature, but it has completely failed to live up to the marketing.
Trying to get the cover onto the pad is incredibly frustrating. It is nearly impossible to get rid of the air bubbles when you try to smooth the cover over the top of the pad, especially at this size.
To make matters worse, after maybe the first or second wash, the rug pad started to peel off and disintegrate. Now, tiny black bits spill all over the house whenever you lift or carry the rug to the washing machine. It creates a massive mess that you have to vacuum up immediately afterward.
When you actually get it in the wash, the stains do not come out at all. On top of that, the dryer simply does not dry it, leaving it damp. After trying to wash it, the edges bent and curled up, so it no longer sits flat on the floor and has become a tripping hazard.
For the price they charge, I expected a rug that could actually handle a trip to the laundry room.
Bought all in one runner for hallway. Said it’s kid and pet friendly. My puppy peed in it and I could not get the urine smell out. Very expensive just to have to through it away. Looks cheap and wears cheap. You’re better off shopping on amazon.

Don’t waste your money
I have bought matching rugs for my great room, kitchen and hallway. I have 5 all together. You would not know they match as every one of them have faded over a short period of time. Most are a year old or less and none of them have ever been washed. There are only 2 people living in my house so there is no excessive foot traffic and none are in direct sunlight. I love the style of the rug and they were beautiful when brand new but within a few months, they all faded. Very disappointing considering the amount of money I have spent.

I strongly recommend staying away from...
I strongly recommend staying away from Ruggable.
I have now been sent the WRONG ITEM THREE TIMES IN A ROW.
This is not a complicated custom order. Yet somehow, despite sending photos, explaining the problem repeatedly, speaking with representatives, and making it abundantly clear what the correct item is, Ruggable has repeatedly failed to get a simple replacement order right.
What makes the experience even more unacceptable is how long each replacement takes. Every single time, I have asked them to expedite the replacement because the error was theirs. And every time, I am left waiting an unreasonable amount of time—only for yet another incorrect item to arrive.
So the cycle becomes:
Ruggable sends the wrong item → I contact customer service → I provide photos and explanations → I ask them to expedite the correction → I wait → Ruggable sends the wrong item AGAIN.
Three times.
For products at this price point, this level of operational incompetence is astonishing. Mistakes happen. One incorrect shipment can be forgiven. But when a company cannot correct the same basic fulfillment problem after multiple opportunities, multiple conversations, multiple photos, and weeks of wasted time, it stops looking like an isolated mistake and starts looking like a company that simply cannot reliably fulfill its own orders.
The amount of time I have had to waste fixing Ruggable’s mistakes is absurd. Customers should not have to repeatedly chase a company, document the same problem over and over, and then wait extended periods of time for the privilege of receiving another incorrect shipment.
At this point, I have completely lost confidence in Ruggable’s ability to fulfill even a straightforward order correctly.
If you are considering spending a significant amount of money with Ruggable, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. There are plenty of companies that can manage the very basic task of sending customers what they actually ordered.
Three wrong shipments in a row is not acceptable. Buyer beware.

Don't bother purchasing the backing
Don't bother purchasing the backing. I purchased a carpet and backing. I washed the carpet for the first time and took it off the vecro like backing; there was small black rubber pieces everywhere. I didn't wash the backing, I shook the backing out to put back and still small rubber pieces everywhere. Good concept if the backing didn't fall apart. The carpet is also not in a high traffic area and not exposed to water or moisture. Furthermore it is difficult and frustrating to try and put the carpet back on backing, you need at least 2 people for a small carpet, can't imagine dealing with a large one. Not worth the money.

Ruggable lied about rug delivery date.
I purchased three rugs on Ruggable. They said the rug would ship in 7-10 days. I got an email that said my rug had shipped, however, when I went to the FedEx site to see when it would arrive it said it wouldn't be shipped till September 18. I called Ruggable and they said that was not true, that it would arrive by the 18th. Then I got an email from FedEx saying, surprise, surprise, it won't be here till September 21!! I really do not like being lied to. Tried to call customer service but they were closed. Very frustrated and don't think I'd buy from Ruggable again.

I will never do business with this...
I will never do business with this company again. It is a shame, as they do have some lovely rugs. I ordered a beautiful green rug and received a stone colored one instead. I immediately contacted the company for an exchange, but was told I'd be charged a "processing fee" in spite of the fact that this company misrepresented their product. I was offered a coupon for a percentage off another purchase. Too bad I no longer trust this company to correct a mistake. I wish I had read the lousy score this company earned. Don't waste your time or money dealing with this dishonest company,

Terrible quality; poor print
Purchased a 4x6 rug for the kitchen. It turns out that it’s just a print—the same rugs are available on Amazon for a fraction of the price of Ruggable. The print quality is extremely poor, and they didn’t even bother to make it as bright and vibrant as shown in the advertised website pictures. I regretted the purchase.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
This site is a scam and you should avoid them at all cost! The rug they sent looked 20 years old and faded compared to the site photos.
