Why give me an option?

I don’t understand why Amazon gives you a delivery time option but delivers when they want to. Lately every time I have scheduled a time for delivery, it is either delivered hours later or a day later. Their delivery times suck. Paying for prime does not seem to be a bargain. I am considering letting prime go. The delivery people throw the packages or leave them in the stairway in the walkway of my neighbors.

Amazon Packaging is S**t

Apparently Amazon has decided, through the use of an algorithm, that they can still make more profits by using no protective packaging, even on highly breakable items. They literally take an item off the shelf in its display packaging, throw it in a paper bag, and ship it. The only reason they don't get a one-star review is because they do eventually take care of broken items, but I just hope they piss off enough customers (and vendors, since it could cost them sales) to nudge that dumbass algorithm back into a sane pattern. Typical corporate BS, overcorrecting their former excessive use of giant boxes with enough bubble wrap to shelter you from a nuclear blast, just to ship you a spoon, or a dog toy, etc.
